The Gibson Ripper II Bass is a reissue of the 70’s classic bass. The original Ripper has steadily grown in popularity which prompted the reissue.
The Ripper was made for less than a decade with a total number of guitars estimated to be at 7775. Suggested retail price of the reissue Ripper II is at $2803. with sale prices making it available for approximately $2000.
Since the reissue the remaining original Ripper bass prices are growing in value from an estimated $750. for a fair conditioned bass just a few years ago to well over $1000. currently depending on condition.
